Smoking, diabetes, blood thinners and chemotherapy are the flags we look at closely. None of them is an automatic no. They may change the timing, the precautions we take, or the order we do things in.

After it is done, an implant asks for ordinary care. Brush it and floss it like a natural tooth and keep your regular cleanings. We check the implant and the bone around it at those visits, which is the real reason the cleaning schedule matters.
