Your first appointment is a sit down, not a procedure. We go through your x-rays, your bone, your health history and your options for restoring your mouth. Nothing is scheduled until you know the plan.

We use a 3D cone beam scan on our Vatech scanner to plan the implant in advance of placement. That scan shows the height, the width and the density of your bone, and it shows where the nerves and blood vessels run in your jaw so we can stay clear of them.

At six minutes away, you can be back on Main Street before lunch. We would rather spend the time up front than guess later. If this is not the right treatment for you right now, we will say so and explain what would need to change.

We review your x-rays, your bone, your health history and your options. You leave knowing the sequence before anything is booked.

Why does the scan matter so much?

It shows whether the bone underneath is strong enough to hold an implant, and exactly where the nerves and blood vessels sit. Planning on that scan is a large part of why the result is reliable.

Am I likely to be a candidate?

Most people are. Severe bone loss, certain health conditions, or a mouth that does not open very wide can make it harder. We will tell you honestly after we look.
