A denture rests on gum tissue, and gum tissue moves. That is why a lower denture can rock when you bite and why a partial can lift at one end. Nothing is wrong with you or with the denture. It is the foundation.

Implants change the foundation. One to four posts in the bone, and in some cases more, act as anchors. A connector called a locator snaps the denture onto them. You get real stability back, and the denture still comes out for cleaning.

We can place those anchors before a denture is made, during, or after one you already own. Planning them together is better, because then we can put them where they give the most support.
